Helping Hand's Update - April 28, 2008
Though the first two months of Hudson's Helping Hand's have raised $2112.98 for Innovative Services NW, and YWCA Clark County. We thank everyone who has helped supported this campaign! More updates to follow as we continue to our $10,000 goal by the end of Summer.
Hudson’s Helping Hand’s - March 2, 2008
The Heathman Lodge’s Hudson’s Bar and Grill is proud to launch a giving campaign starting March 2, 2008. The Sunday evening Helping Hands themed event expects to raise $10,000; the proceeds to be shared by Innovative Services NW and YWCA Clark County local non- profit organizations in Clark County. Red Lion Hotels of Spokane, WA recently announced a $2000 gift and Mt. Hood Chemical of Portland, OR also pledged a $1000 donation to kick-off the Helping Hands Event. As the host of the this event, Hudson’s Bar and Grill is working to create a partnership that brings non-profits, business and the public together for Sunday night dining and donating.
According to Brett Wilkerson, General Manager of The Heathman Lodge, “We receive hundreds of requests for donations through the course of the year. We have chosen two local non-profit organizations that serve several thousand children, adults and families every year, right here in Clark County.” Innovative Services NW and YWCA Clark County will benefit from 10% of all revenue raised every Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until closing from March 2nd through the end of June. “Our management team got together and suggested choosing two non- profits and supporting them with a partnership that can help make a difference in their service delivery by providing a meaningful donation.” said Wilkerson. “Hudson’s Helping Hands is a way of supporting our values and giving back to the community.”
